Check out: > > http://www.kangaus.com/binaural_receiver.htm Hi Sean, thanks for that. I have the 1997 ARRL book and there is an IQ receiver in it but I forgot about it. However, your hints led to a web search that eventually hit a pot of gold: http://www.arsqrp.com/ars/pages/back_issues/2001_text/0501_text/street.html this is *exectly* what I was looking for, plus audio samples to check out (ok, the samples are gone, and the homepage too) (and eye-poppingy simple circuit too). Now for the compressor and for the counter RFI susceptance testing ... thanks a lot, Peter P. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
