Ok, so it must be dual-scan display then.  Still ok, for beater scope to 
drag around.

That is good.  I heard bad things about Instek/Goodwill scope firmware.

Cleverscope sounds very nice.  Thank you for the feedback on the Saelig 
(Owon?) scope.  One last question, is it a PDS5000 series or PDS6000 
series?  I ask because the 6000 series has a TFT display, which should 
like nicer off angle.  The battery option is a nice feature too.
