I disagree. I've purchased lots of test equipment on Ebay. Check the seller's ratings (how many should be greater than 100 and % positive should be greater than 97 percent). You should be able to pick up a nice, tested working, Tektronix 2235 or 2235A for under $200 shipping included. I've picked up a couple of these this way - no problems.
