I might have been willing to believe the original statement was a failed attempt at a joke, but I really don't think so now. Telling someone to "get a life" is insulting and confrontational. That's obviously not a smart thing to say to people you want a favor from, so that means you didn't think this thru and this is another emotional outburst. There is a clear pattern now of lashing out at people who could help you when you get frustrated. And by the way, googling someone's name is a very reasonable thing to do if you want to find out something about the person.
