A thought.

The TI DLP technology is based on tipping mirrors.  So it would be 
possible to make a projection set that reflected the Sun onto a surface, 
not as an image of the Sun but rather as a video image.  This would not 
look like a flat mirror but a two port device that takes in light on one 
port and an output port where the image squirts out.  Instead of the Sun 
a local light source might be used.

Brooke Clarke - currently playing with High Brightness LEDs.  Note that 
the efficiency decreases as the current increases.  A K2 LumiLED driven 
at it's max of 1.5 amps is 24 L/W, but at 350 ma is 46 L/W.
