I've looked at the Ronetix stuff before, but not very closely. I finally get the atmel modified buildroot to work and ended up with a kernel that boots on my board (I'm quite thrilled!) so now I'm working on configuring the linux kernel, and I'll probably spend some time looking at other build systems to see what the differences are. As far as the GPL is concerned, it appears the Atmel largely uses this customized buildroot script for most of its released linux releases, so the only thing they need to do better is put a text file in their releases indicating where to get it. I'll probably be making a webpage or two concerning the process I went through, both for others as well as my own documentation. -Adam On 3/24/07, Zik Saleeba wrote: > I wonder if they're aware that they're violating the terms of the GPL > license in keeping their source code secret. > > Here's another 9261 dev kit which comes with the linux source.
