But I believe the design to have advantages over the standard ICD2; i.e. external header connector, use of non-cypress USB chip, DIP drivers instead of TSSOP (easy to replace if damaged). I think Kenny Wong does a good job. I'd recommend him anywhere. He sells ONLY through E-Bay auctions. On the other hand, he makes a "K149 clone" (a PIC programmer) and uses DIY Electronics' MicroPro (MICROPRO.EXE) to drive his "clone". That is clearly theft of intellectual property. Yes, he lives in Hong Kong, as does DIY Electronics and several other great electronics companies.
