Well hey, it's a new tag! So I'm working on a project with the Atmel at91sam9261 ARM processor. I've got the evaluation kit, and I'm working through getting a custom build of the Linux kernel going. Right now I've got three different Atmel released linux kernels that I've tried, but none of them have all the devices I need (frame buffer and LCD, all the serial ports, touchscreen, etc) and the audio is only a DAC. I'm planning on adapting the audio chip and linux code from the 9200 kit which is a full AC97 codec. Does anyone have any resources that goes step by step through the process of building a cross compiler, configuring the kernel, compiling the kernel, and then packaging it and the root file system to be used on the eval kit? Or guides that give some portion of the process? I'd rather avoid the cost of, say, TimeSys, or another commercial support vendor. But I'm a linux newbie on top of doing something many experienced linux users wouldn't be able to do anyway. So... Any tips before I bang my head against it some more? -Adam -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Moving in southeast Michigan?
