Before he had his own domain, I offered to host his pages from one of those popup type hosts (fortunecity or like that, I don't remember exactly). I am pleased that he still uses my server as a mirror http://hobby_elec.piclist.com/e_menu.htm Anyone who has been to Japan must admire the precision with which that culture attempts to live. In the Navy, the ships my bird was attached to would pull into many ports. In most, the crane, fork, and trucks that off-loaded the air det were late, clumsy, and wanted to be bribed to do the work. In Japan, they were always waiting as well pulled in, then did the work efficiently and without complaint. The trains ran on time, the mess hall on base (run by local civilians) was better than most restaurants I've eaten at. The first time I went for chow, I actually turned around and walked back outside to verify it was the mess hall. I won't comment on the negative things I encountered, but when it comes to pride in work, most people will find it hard to live up to the Japanese standard. At least in my experience. I am proud to share the planet with Inoue San's people and learn some of their ways. --- James Newton: PICList webmaster/Admin mailto:jamesnewton@piclist.com 1-619-652-0593 phone http://www.piclist.com/member/JMN-EFP-786 PIC/PICList FAQ: http://www.piclist.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
