Another source of cheaper-than-lpkf bits is Think&Tinker at http://www.thinktink.com (haven't used them yet; I'm still working through the supplies that came with the unit, and trying to figure ways to maximize tool life.) Still, since what I was used to was surplus resharpened drills, the $8 to $15 per bit caused significant sticker shock, and they're not something that shows up surplus...
