The only "timing" is for the pic to be able to look at the voltage on
the pin when it isn't activly driving it.
So its not a timing between the pics, its an "internal timing" issue.
IE you need to hold the voltage long enough to read the ADC.

So some kind of 55 farad ultracap might do the job ;-> Provided the time
between making the port an input and doing the reading is within a few
seconds.
