You will need a phone with GSM900 coverage. We know that we need GSM900. We have Verizon for our phone service, and don't have GSM900 phones, nor does Verizon offer them in the US (apparently). We're looking at buying an unlocked GSM900 phone (from ebay, unless someone has a better suggestion), and either getting a prepaid account (provider suggestions welcome) or buying a SIM card in Tahiti.
