(At least with XP home & 2k & earlier) Yes, thanks, but the available resolutions listed even there still seem dependant on the montitor detected. As I was saying to the original poster I used to have dual 19" CRT's running at 1280 x 1024 (dual span 2560 x 1024). When tempted to replace them with 20" LCD's on special I looked to see if my card would do the required new resolution of 1400 x 1050 (dual span 2800 x 1050) and despite lot's of options being available their was nothing quite right. The LCD seller said my card would recognise the new monitors when connected, so I bought them, and it did! The list of supported resolutions is now quite different to before and the LCD's are running nicely at their native resolution. -- Brent Brown, Electronic Design Solutions 16 English Street, St Andrews, Hamilton 3200, New Zealand Ph: +64 7 849 0069 Fax: +64 7 849 0071 Cell: 027 433 4069 eMail: brent.brown@clear.net.nz -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
