I once had a problem similar to the one you have described.  I was using the Firefox browser under Windows 2000 and had been viewing a lot of PDF files.  Firefox would show me other sites, but not the Parallax one.  (I think that Internet Explorer 6.0 would show me the site and PDF files when Firefox would not.)  It was very strange!  After rebooting, the problem went away.

That may not apply to your situation, but the site itself seems to be operational.
