I run both at my work and home 100% windows XP. I'm totally unsatisied with windows (and the programs that run on it), ... (and I'm too stupid to get Linux going ;-) ... so I build my own "google": textprocessing, codeeditor, tabbed webbrowser, filemanager, image editor, vector editor, lite UML, real time data acquisition and analysis and much more, ... simply as a single individual in my spare time (last 5 years). Now realize that Google has bought Guido van Rossum (the creator and benevolent dictator of Python), then, what I've done in my spare time, Google can do in 3 months or less.
