I'm running OS/2 since its first pre-release and I'm still happy with it (although today under the name eComStation, a sort of repackaging of the orginal IBM OS/2 by Serenity Systems International). My current hardware: AMD64 dual core, PCI(express), SATA drives, 100 MB LAN, etc. Applications: e.g. Firefox, Thunderbird, Open Office, Gimp, etc. etc. And also runs DOS and most Windows (16 and 32 bits) apps.
