A 5 meg pdf file written in little more explanatory fashion.  Includes 
chapters on common hardware/software mistakes, various 'gotchas' and 
info on efficient coding with the MSP430. It's far more readable for me, 
especially after getting a few simple LED blinky programs going.

It has much of interest to PIC's as well.  Articles on various general 
purpose measurement techniques and so on such as used to be seen in 
ap-notes in dead-tree data books.
