Assume all groups below start with borland.public.delphi

The "ide.general" is for the IDE specifically, not for
Delphi the language. That would be the place to look for
answers to your "help" questions however.

Try

language.delphi.general (regular Delphi)
language.delphi.dotnet  (Delphi.net specific)

also the

oodesign

group is pretty good for "good OO Delphi" discussions.
