Alas.
I have the vaguest smatterings of French which helps a little with 
understanding, have lost my smidgeon of tourist Japanese (1984) , 
never got much hello and thankyou in Chinese (Tawan x 2). Did Latin at 
school which helps a little all over. Odd words and expressions in 
Maori from a lifetime of variable exposure thereto. Similar but less 
of Samoan (did a course but ...).

Had a surprisingly hard time with USAian.
