Your ask is presuming that all people here will read AN696. Believe me
they don't.
However I read it just for curiosity, right now.

In the spirit of AN696 hardware it's  possible only if you have a PIC
with four CCP modules (you need 4 hardware PWM outputs) and of course
four incremental encoders, one for every motor.
