NDA from my point of view (which I'm "other nation") it's almost a silly thing. Example: three american companies are involved in developing a product and are signing NDA's. From every company at least one director and two employees know many things about the product. Finaly they send the gerbers/manufacturing plans at factory in Taiwan. After a half year they are questioning who was the guy who spell out the secret since there are already two similar products on the market, manufactured in China... You should be aware of everything.
