FWIW....is this your own house....or something commercial? If its yours, then of course you would want to do it in such a manner that your house isnt going to burn down, and nobody will get hurt, and of course nobody is going to inspect it for safety. You could even pot it to prevent bad things from happening. I thought Leviton or someone made a box that had it split....LV one side and HV on the other? The SSR must be INSIDE the box so that any possible flame it generates due to failure is contained by the box. It may be easier to turn the switch into a double gang box and put the SSR into the empty compartment with with the HV leads coming through a hole drilled in the separator plate.
