I was put off immediately by this story http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/story.cfm?c_id=5&objectid=10418787 Although the market is freeing up (ever so ever so slowly), the long-time monopolist, Telecom, still has a pretty firm grip. (eg with my TelstraClear account, or any account apart from Telecom, I still can't get broadband without changing provider and getting pinged if I don't use their toll system. So I don't got broadband) iPhone (TM Cisco), to me anyway, is just an expensive toy and way to do things that the cost doesn't justify, and I don't find it necessary (at this stage).
