The cordless screwdriver sounds seriously promising - you'd use a rubber eraser to grip the pot-core bobbin, stick it onto the screwdriver and start winding. Slow speed is important, a fast wind up would break the wire for sure. Hadn't thought of the stock wire twisting: good one, Anand.
