Actually I did the same thing, I bought the Nokia 6280 phone for my wife which is pretty new but "on the way out" in Singapore. If you come to Singapore, you will be amazed to find that there are so many mobile phone shops and people changes their phone so frequently. Not me though, still using either a Nokia 8250 or a 3350. I'd like to get a smart phone like Blackberry/Palm/PocketPC phone but the data plan is not so cheap and I really do not use my phone very often. In fact I am using a prepaid plan and my monthly usage is about US$4... However my wife seems to like the Walkman phone more. They ran out of stock last week. Maybe I will have to buy her a new phone later if she still does not like the phone after some adjustment. She is using a Nokia 3120 from her employer and that is a very basic phone.
