I got an interesting book for Christmas.. "Hacking Roomba".
I've only glanced at it briefly, but it looks to have some
interesting content regarding how to connect my toys to the
Roombas internal network.

My wife has made it clear that she is less interested in a 
Roomba, she would much rather have a Scooba. Washing the
kitchen floor doesn't get the attention that it probably
should. :-)
