> And where are the other 80+ tapes of the Pentagon strike that the > FBI confiscated within minutes of the crash ? I saw a program the other night called "911 : In Plane Site : The Director's Cut", made by David vonKleist The official explanation that an airliner hit the Pentagon looked pretty unbelievable based on that program's evidence. I'd seen other "conspiracy theory" films about it, but this one really went into it in depth. In short - - the Pentagon is bristling with surveillance cameras, inside and out, as you'd expect. Release of any of that footage would clear the matter up once and for all. As it isn't being releasing then.....why ? - the "footage" from across the road shows no plane. In fact it shows nothing clearly - the outer walls pictured after the crash but before the collapse show absolutely no damage from wings, engines or tail. Wreckage of any size (eg two humping great airliner engines) is neither in nor out of the building. (in another film, teams of people are seen scouring and cleaning the lawn immediately after the crash, and wrapped debris is shown being trucked away) - the fuel load of the "plane" would have been comparable to that of the two which hit the WTC, with enormous BTU, yet there is significantly less fire damage. Offices exposed to the hole are barely singed, and even paperwork is still on desks - compare this with Flight 175 hitting the South Tower. Both the physical and fire damage are significantly less - whatever it was punched a fairly clean hole through, altogether, (from memory) 9 metres of steel-reinforced concrete to penetrate the inner rings of the building. That's 30ft The program makes the assertion that if one part of the entire four-plane incident is suspect, then is it reasonable to assume that the rest of it is. A suggestion was that The War Machine, which includes major contractors, needed a new boogieman to stay in business. Saddam will do, and he's got oil The film presented a de-classified document which showed that at one time a plan was drawn up to fabricate an attack by Cuba to justify an invasion and remove Castro. This plan included attacks on US ships and personnel by covert US forces And it's widely believed that Pearl Harbour was no surprise. ISTR Churchill (who was not Japanese Prime Minister, he was actually on the Allies side) at least was well aware of Japanese troop movements and what they were planning -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
