Hi,
In Outlook Express 6.0,
go to Tools -> Accounts,
Select the accout in the 'Mail' tab,
Click on the 'Properties' button,
Select the 'Advanced' tab,
Set the 'Server Timeouts' slider to whatever value you want.
I am not very sure of Outlook which comes with XP.
