Well, Mike Singer does have a point. Your request could hardly be called 
polite. We don't know your name, but you are asking someone else how they 
say their name.

Is your name really Tachyon? I guess this is an anglicised spelling of a 
Chinese or SE Asian name, if it is a real name.

And how do you say your name? From the spelling, I have got used to thinking 
"Tacky-on", although I suspect true pronunciation would be more like 
"Tack-eon".
