Ahh, ok I've just read down further. Ignore my previous post. I see that you do filter and it's the post filter messages and approvals that are getting out of hand. Can you not add some of the existing IP lists? DNSRBL, SURBL, Spam-assassin, etc.? Given these are essentially handled as e-mail, Spam assassin might be helpful.
