I like Atmel's AVR chips, they have many nice features and they are easy to program, but they are considerably more expensive than PIC offerings. Does anyone else notice this, and what do you do when you want to use an AVR but the PIC is much cheaper? I have a design I'm playing around with. I'd like to use one of the more feature-filled AVRs, but the price is just silly. -- Martin K Nate Duehr wrote: > William Chops Westfield wrote: > >> On Dec 16, 2006, at 8:21 AM, Russell McMahon wrote: >> >> >>> Atmel November 2006 Product Guide 96 page PDF >>> >>> >> We can have a poll as to which products are going to get the axe: >> http://biz.yahoo.com/bizwk/061215/pi20061213411378.html?.v=2 >> > > LOL... investors reward ineptitude again.
