As nobody seems to have answered, this is my attem: I asked a colleague at work, who was South African, how Wouter's surname should be pronounced (his first name is as it's spelled, with the "W" pronounced as "V" in English) and he said: "oo-yen". The "e" is quite short, not as if you were saying "Yen" on its own - more like "ynn".
