I have Direcway bidirectional satellite Internet. About a year ago I = upgraded to their DW7000 modem and that seems to make a big = difference. Where before the Internet would go out long before my = Dishnet TV would even begin to show minor pixelation under heavy = precipitation, with the DW7000 I often have Internet service at times = when I cannot watch TV! I looked at the WildBlue website and its interesting. I pumped in = about a dozen zipcodes from around the country besides my own local = one (in NW VT) every single zipcode I offered was told "... sorry, = due to heavy demand we aren't offering your area yet" ... wonder what = kind of scam they are running ... its the same b.s. we get from = Verizon when we ask about when they are gonna finish the rest of the = county with DSL. --- cheers ... 73 de brian riley, n1bq , underhill center, vermont Tech Blog Home of the K107 Serial LCD Controller Kit FT817 Power Conditioner Kit Tab Robot Laser Tag Kit MSP430 Chips and Connectors Propeller Robot Controller SX48 "Tech Board" Kit On Dec 13, 2006, at 6:51 PM, Carl Denk wrote: > Satelite with the issues of Directv.
