Lou Dobbs is a commentator on CNN and the author. He used to be a Republican and now is an Independent. The book reviewer said the book was a real eye opener. She said Dobbs lays out the argument that the middle class has no one in Congress looking out for them. The Pharmaceutical companies have at least 2 lobbyists per elected official! All the large business interests fight for what they want the people who do the electing get ignored. Pork Barrel Spending (this is when members of Congress insert their own projects into unrelated bills to benefit their area) is out of control, as is the national debt. It is so frustrating. Now the US spends hundreds of billions on just the interest of the national debt. I guess the saying is true: Thank God we don't get all the government that we pay for! http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/book.2.html -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
