I don't know anything about the micros in F1 cars but they do
have their electrical problems. Whether any of those are due
to crystals failing under G forces, possibly not

The effect is probably negligible and unimportant in most apps
but it's worth knowing about

Acceleration in a rocket might not affect the crystal too badly,
even if timing was somewhat affected, but the decceleration
when the rocket (or whatever the device is) lands might break it
