This is a real shame. AMP was a good company with good products that
they supported and stood behind.
What they did to get sucked up by such a disreputable company as Tyco is
beyond me. I hope they will
give AMP so autonomy, though I doubt it. They'll likely wring all they
can out of AMP, and dump the corpse.

  Since Tyco took over AMP I have been unable to get any satisfaction
  from
  them. I don't know if it's related to the Tyco takeover or just bad
  timing, but they are a black hole from which no data, samples, or
  anything resembling support escapes. Now I avoid their parts.
