That's my reaction too - well, actually a 14-pin, since 16F688 is the smallest PIC with a serial port (right?) and I'm too lazy to do it in firmware, plus I generally am doing other timing-intensive stuff. But it's on my "ought to figure this out" list, because you could have a working transmitter with just a battery, XBee, and switch. Let me know if I can help any other way. -- Timothy J.
