You will have to buy a box of them if you want a better price. 5V@0.5A is only 2.5W so you could use a regulated linear wall wart, which will probably be $5-$10 in 1s. Again, in quantity you can reduce the price. But if you ship abroad you should consider shipping without wall warts, using a standard power connector receptacle for dc.
