Spark Fun sell this 640 x 480 camera phone camera nice and cheap: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=637 They even kinda sorta have information on how to interface to it. Looks like it's I2C but I didn't look into it closely. For $20 I'm tempted to just go and add it to my current project! Do you think the world's ready for a variometer with a built in camera? No?
