Maybe describe what your doing.....only because I wonder if you can do the same thing on a graphical LCD module, or OLED module? A full-custom display will require a custom plastic part to be designed and manufactured- which in turn requires a plastic injection mold to be designed and made, as well as the internal PCB, test jigs etc. You'll be stuck with high minimum re-order quantities, long lead times, and a large NRE cost (or huge minimum quantity) ..and the NRE costs might or the supplier might disappear between orders.
