I don't work with Olin's environment, but I could imagine that properly
documenting the setup is less work (and potentially more useful) than
providing this online environment -- and probably would have to be done, to
some degree, anyway. Maybe the documentation is so good then that Olin
maintains it :)

This is definitely a helpful thing, but probably could be done also by
having a common, documented setup.
