I think that could be very useful! I'm running eComStation (formerly OS/2) on my PC's and I use CC5X and CC8E compilers for my PICmicro programming. These compilers run either in a DOS or a W32 session (comparable to Wine under Linux). But I have not found a way to run SDCC under eComStation. And I'm not (yet) fluently enough with Linux to use SDCC under Linux. So if I understand you correctly the compile-farm idea would allow me to enjoy SDCC without the hassle of trying to make it run on my own PC. [from another msg] > Anyway... Since it is just Olin and I talking about it so far, I > don't see that the interest is there... Just to inform you that there is more interest (but for me not in Olin's environment).
