Perhaps you can get the original specifications for the design and work fro= m = there. After all, it is easier to know that it works if you know how it sho= uld = work, especially if you have to change obsolete components. Why was that = component selected in the first place? What rating is needed? etc.. Your client also should know the criteria for how he will verify and valida= te = the design. What are those?
