Hi, I bought this GW Instek GDS-820C digital oscilloscope. To my surprise it was extremely difficult to use in daylight. The screen raster was next to impossible to see at 100% contrast. I subdued afternoon light it was OK but even when the room was rather dark, the display "disappeared" at around 40% contrast. Has any one any experience in this? In the light level I refer to there was for example no problem to distinguish the old TDS 220 b/w, the laptop screen (color) or the mobile phone (color ). I returned the GDS-820C to the supplier and ordered another brand instead, but I sort of liked some of the features it has. Relatively long memory a.o.
