I was about to say "pick up a Linux Journal, and browse the advertiser's 
index....", but I did it myself anyway.

requirements.... I figure that is quite good.

You just need to install Real-time Linux on and go. It has additional

The way I see it is that there is a threshold where you move from an 
embedded system to a small computer. This is definately in the small 
computer bracket, but that is what you want with all those requirements. 
You may as well remove the enclosure from a Laptop, and go from there...
