Being involved with a bluetooth project myself....I have to ask this.  Why use BT?
   
  If you are just getting data, and sending back to a central collection processor, do you need the BW of BT?  I would look closer at using Zigbee (still yet I think this is overkill) or better yet, wireless USB.  Cypress has some very nice modules, very small and will be forthcoming with a RSoC (I think?)  where they marry the PSoC with the USB radio chip.
