On the other hand, I compiled the PUF PIC USB Framework using SDCC last time I tried it. http://vasco.gforge.enseeiht.fr/ PUF is licensed under the terms of the LGPL 2.1. The "docker" and the demo are licensed under GPL 2. As a side note, I've got the LPCUSB "LPC214x USB stack" project (BSD license) working on an LPC-P2148 demo board. You may want to look at it in case you want to move to ARM MCU.
