I'm not sure what features you think they should be taking over, but the
one striking difference seems to be size. And IMO small size is not
necessarily a good thing for an evaluation/development system. I want to be
able to easily poke around, and maybe add custom hardware through some
wires. Seems possible, but if it were a bit bigger, it would probably be a
bit easier.
