Hrm, strange.  I disconnect the PIC from the ICD at the ICD and it stops
running it's program.  I plug it back in and the ICD will recognize it.  But
only for a minute or two and then the PIC starts running it's program again
and the ICD fails to recognize the PIC.

Sound like damage, or settings?
