It was written by Joni Mitchell in 1969 and released on the album "Ladies Of The Canyon" in 1970 which also includes two of my other favorite songs she's written/recorded -- "Big Yellow Taxi" and "The Circle Game". Probably one of her best albums along with "Court and Spark" (Help Me, Free Man in Paris).
